Spending insights
Connect a bank and the Spending tab shows where your money actually goes, categorised, month by month, without you labelling anything.
Connecting a bank for spending
Tap the card icon in the bottom menu, then Get Started. You will be handed to Plaid to sign in to your bank; your credentials never touch alooola.

A bank connected here feeds spending tracking. Funding an investment account is a separate step, done inside that account. See connecting your bank.
What the screens show
| Screen | What it tells you |

| Insights | This month's spending beside the same point last month |
| Spending | Six months of totals, then a breakdown by category or merchant |
| Cash flow | Income against spending each month, and what is left over |
| Recent activity | Every transaction, newest first, with its category |
Categories
Transactions are categorised automatically. Tap any one to change its category if we have it wrong, and the change sticks for that merchant in future.
Switch the Category / Merchant toggle to see the same month ranked by who you paid rather than what you paid for.
